Charlie Flood, MS.Ed., is an educator, professional trainer and global business consultant with more than 30 years of product development and delivery experience within the accounting industry. His background also includes product development in the publishing industry, the entertainment sector and with a variety of companies serving those sectors.

In his role as the Dean of Hippo Leadership Campus, Charlie is responsible for the development of the learning strategies for each of the SME created hours that deliver key content. Dean Charlie will seek out the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) that have a strong message to the professionals in the industry and that will bring true value to the learners on the platform. He will coach each SME through the development of their content ensuring that all Hippo Leadership Campus courses are NASBA certifiable.

Jonathan gassman, CAP®, CFP®, CPA

Jonathan Gassman, CAP®, CFP®, CPA, Principal, Prager Metis CPAs. Prior to his work with Prager Metis he was the founder of The Gassman Financial Group, a New York City-based public accounting firm. He is one of the most innovative accountants in the industry. His innovative style, and never ending sense of curiosity, puts him in the role of Chief Reality Officer. Yes, that is a real thing! Jonathan (JG) watches over the workings of the partnership as well as the realistic application of every one of the skills and techniques the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) bring to the table.

He, or his questions, will appear in each of the courses as a way of bringing the SME’s content, or solutions, back down to earth. JG’s interviewing skills and his knowledge of the CPA industry will help bring the Hippo Leadership Campus courses, to life. Jonathan is also responsible for wrangling the various Hippos as they graze for new ideas, while maintaining a view on the tone and quality of the deliverables.

deidre Koppelman

Deidre Koppelman is founder of PEAR Core Solutions, Inc. a national human capital management firm. She is also a national speaker on leadership development, team dynamics and human capital behaviors. Deidre has earned her role as our President and will bring an innovative approach to the soft skills required to be a leader in the industry.

Deidre will also be managing the execution of the Hippo Leadership Campus vision plan and, she will keep us Hippos in line whenever there are inevitable challenges we face. Her grace and transparency make her a Hippo to be reckoned with. She will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Hippo platform. Deidre also supports the Hippo content delivery quality control.

Scott Moore

As Owner & Chief Operating Officer of The Rainmaker Companies, Scott is dedicated to helping professional service firms across the country optimize their ability to grow. Over his 30-year career of leading integrated marketing and business development programs, he has developed a holistic perspective of strategies and tactics that drive growth.

He enjoys contributing to the industry through collaboration, leadership, and knowledge-sharing. He has served as President of the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM); was named among the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Industry” by Accounting Today, and was recognized as the “Accounting Marketer of the Year” by the CPA Practice Management Forum. In 2019 he was inducted by AAM into the Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame.

Mary Ann Brawner

Mary Ann serves as HLC’s Intellectual Property Manager. She ensures quality and NASBA compliance and serves as the go-between for HLC and the learning platform Peer-Tree.

Mark DrEyer

Mark is our master media director here at Hippo. He creates, brands and ensures consistency across our courses. Mark designs graphics that enhance the learning experience for our participants.
